The River Parish Community Theatre Rising Stars is a group for theatre lovers in grades 8-12. The Rising Stars give the future of our theatre a chance to socialize and have fun together year-round. However, we don't just gather for social events. The Rising Stars also discuss what's happening with RPCT and also come up with ways to help. Some of the things we do to be an important part of what's happening with RPCT are:
Audition and Show poster distribution
We form teams and canvas the area, putting up audition and show posters in area businesses. There may or may not be coffee, drinks, and delicious goodies along the way!
Help with prop and costume organization
With the large collection of props and costumes RPCT has, it's an ongoing job to keep it in order and inventoried. Besides, these costumes need to be tried on regularly 😏
Fundraising

Get involved with The Rising Stars so you can be on the inside of what's coming up with RPCT! Our theatre is growing and there will be many opportunities to be part of it on and off stage.

It's not all work! When the work is done or when we feel like we need a little time together, The Rising Stars plan social events, too. Some of the things we've done include "Friendsgiving", a Christmas Party, bowling, random dinners/sing-alongs, and putt putt golf.
