Audition Dance (for all who are auditioning)

Music starts at 3:48 on the Broadway Recording of "The Prince is Giving a Ball"

First 8     step R, touch L, step L, step R, arm going up to the side of the body and legs in a plie' on the touch
                repeat to opposite side

4 count break  4 ball change turns, moving backwards over right shoulder, right elbow flexed to 90, wrist extended to 90

8           step to the side on R foot 12, bow or courtesy 34, pony L 56, pony R 78, arm will go up on side of lead foot on pony

8           grapevine LRLR 1-4, walk backwards L R 56, step forward on L and pivot bringing right foot in and facing front on 8

8           L foot begins Jazz square crossing over R 1-4, step out on R foot, Lunge and swoop R arm on 56, step on R foot and arabasque 7, close in 5th position on 8

8           cross right foot over left 1, step L foot in place 2, 3 step turn RLR (3&4) ,  cross L foot over 5, step R in place on 6, kick L leg out on 7, close in 5th on 8

8            R chasse' 1&2, ball change 34, walk 56, jump or bells on 7, land feet together 8

8            Spin to the R on R foot, clap, clap, repeat with 2 spins and 2 claps
